CCNA Course 2 Labs

NETLABAE supports Networking Academy CCNA Course 2 labs using: The table below lists the supported labs and pod types which can be used. Labs with mandatory PC activities require Basic Router Pod Version 2 or Cuatro Router Pod. Labs in CCNA2 not listed below are not currently supported by NETLABAE.

Enabling the Labs

To enable CCNA2 labs and pod types, check the box for "CCNA 3.x Labs and Pods" in the class settings. This must be done for each class requiring access to CCNA2 labs.

Using the Labs

Always select the correct lab exercise for the lab being performed when using CCNA2 labs.

Students or teams should schedule the correct lab exercise from the catalog. If a lab is supported on more than one pod type, the lab will appear once for each installed pod type.

Instructors should select the correct lab from the Exercise tab during instructor-led lab reservations. This can be done as many times as needed during the reservation.

Importance of Choosing the Correct Lab Exercise

Several of the labs differ from the standard pod topologies. This is handled by NETLAB's Dynamic VLAN Mapping technology. Always select the correct lab exercise for the actual lab. This insures that NETLAB will set up VLANs on the control switch such that lab devices and PC's are placed in the correct LAN segment for the exercise being performed.
