Gain hands-on experience in exploring a variety of tools and concepts of Network Management.

Lab Details

These labs provide hands-on experience with network management tools to analyze and understand network traffic and network protocols. Learners are introduced to network protocols such as NetFlow, IPFIX, and along with networking tools such as Nfdump, Wireshark, Open vSwitch, GoFlow, and Grafana.

The development of this lab series was supported with funding from the National Science Foundation Award 1829698, “CyberTraining CIP: Cyberinfrastructure Expertise on High-throughput Networks for Big Science Data Transfers” at the University of South Carolina (UofSC).
