Upgrade your NETLAB+ system to Proxmox VE 9

NETLAB+ supports Proxmox VE 9. If your NETLAB+ system runs on Proxmox VE 8, you can move your hosts to VE 9 and keep your labs on a current platform. This page collects everything you need: labs to practice the upgrade in a disposable environment, a lab library that teaches VE 9, and the documentation for the upgrade itself.

Before upgrading your Proxmox hosts, keep your NETLAB+ system up to date with the latest version. Current system requirements, install guides, and administrator documentation live on the NETLAB+ documentation site.

Practice the upgrade before production

Your production Proxmox hosts run your classes, and most administrators get one shot at a major version upgrade. New labs in the Proxmox VE 8 lab libraries let you run the full upgrade in a pod first: hit the failure modes, build your checklist, and reset the environment as many times as you need before touching the hosts your semester depends on.

The same labs give your students hands-on practice with version lifecycle management, a skill they will use on every platform they administer.

Learn and teach Proxmox VE 9

The Proxmox VE 9: Setup and Management lab library is available now: 16 labs and 9 assessments covering installation through clustering and high availability, delivered through the interactive HTML5 content viewer. Install the course using the Course Manager on your NETLAB+ system.
