Proxmox VE 9: Setup and Management is available now on both NDG platforms. The course covers deploying and running the current Proxmox VE release, from installation through clustering:
- Install and configure Proxmox VE 9 as a virtualization host
- Deploy, modify, and clone virtual machines and LXC containers, including templates
- Configure local and networked storage
- Protect workloads with backup and redundancy solutions, including Proxmox Backup Server
- Manage users, groups, and permissions from the web interface and the CLI
- Build Proxmox VE clusters with high availability
On NDG Online
Proxmox VE 9: Setup and Management runs in the browser with nothing to install. The labs provide a live Proxmox VE environment, so you deploy VMs, containers, storage, and networking without hardware of your own. Access runs 4 months per purchase, and learners with an academic (.edu) email qualify for reduced pricing.
On NETLAB+
The Proxmox VE 9: Setup and Management lab library is available for NETLAB+ systems using the Proxmox VE 9: Setup and Management Pod. The labs use NDG's Interactive Content experience in the HTML5 content viewer: lab exercises, videos, assessments and grading, integrated questions with instant feedback, and challenge labs. Keep your NETLAB+ system on the latest version to use the interactive content.
NETLAB+ administrators running Proxmox VE 8 as their system backend can follow the upgrade path to Proxmox VE 9.
Already on VE 8?
The Proxmox VE 8: Setup and Management and Proxmox VE 8: Advanced Administration and Optimization libraries remain available for programs standardized on VE 8, and both now include labs that practice the VE 8 to 9 upgrade.
