Virtual machine commands
Each virtual machine or device in a lab has a menu of commands that affect the machine or how NDG Online shows it. Open it with the down arrow next to the device's name.

Send CTRL+ALT+DEL
Sends Ctrl+Alt+Del to the virtual machine. Your computer never passes this key combination through when you type it, so use this command instead.
Undock
Opens the virtual machine in its own window outside NDG Online. Useful with more than one monitor, or to show a machine full screen.
Actual Size
Shows the virtual machine one screen pixel per machine pixel, at the resolution the machine is set to. This gives the sharpest picture, but part of the screen can extend past your monitor.
Scale Display
Fits the virtual machine to the NDG Online window and your screen, keeping its proportions. The whole screen always shows, though scaling can blur it. Use this if parts of the machine's screen are cut off.
Resize Display
Changes the virtual machine's resolution to match the space in your window. Because the resolution then follows your browser window, windows and dialog boxes can be cut off on smaller monitors.
Revert
Returns this one virtual machine to the state it had when the lab loaded. Other machines in the reservation are unaffected. This is an advanced option: used in the middle of a lab, it can leave the machine out of step with the lab. If a machine is giving you trouble, end your reservation and start a new one instead.
Power On and Power Off
Turns the virtual machine on or off.
Take Screenshot
Captures the virtual machine's screen. In an instructor-led class, your instructor can see these screenshots. Without an instructor, NDG Online doesn't keep them, but you can save the image to your computer. You can't view your screenshots later in NDG Online.
